ABOUT JUKES
JUKES is an Instagram page focused on football highlights, reporting, and opinions. JUKES is your favorite football account's favorite account - reporting the fastest football breaking news, breaking down all scores and updates from the football world, and analyzing what all is occurring throughout the NFL. With 2.4 million followers currently and 1.4 million followers at the time of my employment, many people care about the posts and opinions coming from the JUKES page.
JUKES is just one of many Instagram accounts within the Wave Sports + Entertainment farm system. Wave Sports + Entertainment is the fourth-largest sports social media network in the world, only trailing the likings of Barstool Sports and others. As the main football account in the Wave network, Jukes has an important role to fill within the Wave system.
MY ROLE & GOALS WITH JUKES
My role with JUKES was to serve as a content creator for the page. The JUKES account posts anywhere from 3-8 times per day; finding enough content to post every day, every week consistently was my top task. Whether it was an original statistic, analysis, video, or graphic, I was responsible with the others on the content creation team for providing the social media manager with content to post in a timely manner.
The goal as a content creator was simple: find content to post every day. I had to be creative and innovative to come up with new things to post every day if there wasn't a breaking news report or an interesting storyline to write about. In the end, then, this content would contribute to the growth of the JUKES page.
During my time with JUKES, their growth was exponential.
