ABOUT THE MOODY CENTER
The Moody Center, newly opened as of spring 2022, is a world-class, 15,000+ capacity arena that is the center of Austin entertainment. Not only does it host The University of Texas Men's and Women's Basketball games, but it also hosts world-class artists, singers, comedians, and sporting events, such as Drake, Harry Styles, George Strait, Bad Bunny, the San Antonio Spurs, Dave Chappelle, and many more. 

Owned by Oak View Group, a global sports and entertainment giant, OVG is a company focused on being a positive disruption to the sports and live entertainment industry. Oak View Group partners with Live Nation/C3 Presents, UT-Austin, and Matthew McConaughey to provide top-tier amenities and hospitality to both artists and fans.  ​​​​​​​
MY ROLE WITH OAK VIEW GROUP/MOODY CENTER
My role with the Moody Center as a Corporate Partnerships Intern was to support the Austin Partnerships team in many capacities. Whether that was communicating with our partners and sponsors about concert/show activations, ensuring that all goals and needs were being met, or even taking pictures of our sponsors' deliverables at events, I was an assistant to the team that made sure our partners were taken care of and their deliverables were being met (and more).  

My goal as an intern with the Moody Center was to fill in to help with our sponsors, mainly involving our End-of-Year Reports that were due to them to describe how we met our deliverables and even expanded upon them. I had to memorize/know every sponsorship contract we had with our main partners to help meet the contract; I made sure every part of their contract was satisfied and even more.

Allegiant digital ribbon ad campaign at Lizzo; Allegiant team wanted to see the reach of their ribbon board between the opener and the headlining performance.
